Exact-ratio transformer sourcing

230/34.5 kV Transformers

Screen 230/34.5 kV power transformer opportunities by MVA, tertiary, cooling ratings, and available evidence. J&J separates this exact ratio from 230/13.8 kV units and reconnectable autotransformers so your procurement team starts with the relevant candidates.

230 kV transformer listings

Open the 230 kV page

Listings are represented opportunities, not guaranteed stock. Before relying on a unit, confirm its availability, seller authority, condition, exact location, included scope, and technical suitability in writing. All listings are subject to prior sale. J&J is not the OEM or engineer of record.

Compare the technical basis behind each 230/34.5 kV listing

Two listings with the same voltage ratio can have different winding arrangements, cooling stages, tap ranges, and document coverage. Compare the controlling specification with the serial-specific package before evaluating price or a delivery plan.

  • Keep a seller representation distinct from a reviewed nameplate, drawing, or factory test report.
  • Request impedance together with its MVA base and the winding pair measured.
  • Confirm whether quoted accessories include bushings, radiators, fans, controls, and the required tap-changing equipment.
  • Request transport dimensions, shipping weight, storage history, and loading scope for the proposed unit.

Send a requirement that can be matched

Start with MVA, quantity, project state, and needed-on-site date. Add the one-line or specification through direct follow-up with Tommy. The RFQ below already includes this voltage ratio.

Common questions

Written quotes and supporting records control unit-specific ratings, availability, condition, price, and delivery.

Is a 230/115/69 kV autotransformer a substitute for 230/34.5 kV?

It is a different listed voltage configuration. Do not treat it as an exact 230/34.5 kV match. Submit the project one-line and controlling specification so a proposed candidate can be reviewed against the actual requirement.

What if no listed 230/34.5 kV transformer meets my MVA requirement?

Send the full requirement anyway. J&J can review sourcing options without representing an unconfirmed unit as available. Include acceptable alternatives only when your engineering team has approved them.

Can I receive drawings and pricing?

Contact Tommy Marco at 346-276-9540 or submit an RFQ with the unit reference and project details. J&J will review document access, current availability, scope, and price for that candidate. Public equipment pages do not constitute a quotation.
