19 TSEA 345/34.5 kV transformers: 12 units rated 136/181/226 MVA and 7 units rated 160/213/266 MVA. These are 2027 production allocations. What controls 345 kV collector-transformer fit?
Confirm collector voltage and grounding, winding vector, tertiary function, MVA and cooling stages, impedance and tolerance, BIL, LTC/DETC scope, renewable or converter harmonics, reactive requirements, fault cases, protection, losses, sound, accessories, and site interfaces.
- Use final drawings and test values, not a headline ratio, to compare candidates.
- Review switching and temporary overvoltage cases with the responsible system engineer.
- Coordinate transport configuration, oil shipment, bushing/cooler handling, route survey, foundation loads, field assembly, testing, and commissioning.

For a 345 kV step-down request, provide both source and output winding voltages, required continuous MVA, quantity and project date. How do I request a transformer price and availability?
Email tommy@jjtransformers.com or call Tommy Marco at 346-276-9540. Send the listing reference or required MVA, exact winding voltages, quantity, destination and needed-on-site date. Ask for specifications, price, current allocation and delivery terms. Written confirmation is required; subject to prior sale.
Are every listing and production allocation ready to ship?
No. Existing equipment, submitted inventory and factory production allocations have different release schedules. TSEA allocations are for 2027 and are not immediately shipping stock. Ask for current written allocation, preparation requirements, included accessories and the delivery milestone for each offered unit.
Can the listed GSU be used as a step-down substation transformer?
The proposed operating direction and permitted continuous MVA must be checked against the actual unit documents. Winding connections, grounding, taps, protection and site interfaces need project engineering review; a matching voltage ratio alone does not establish acceptance.
Does a transformer offer include a complete substation?
Only equipment expressly included in the quotation is supplied. Specify the transformer, breakers, switchgear, protection, controls and site-work responsibilities separately when requesting a complete package.
