Available allocations and a reserved purchase are different milestones
An available allocation is an equipment opportunity J&J can review for your project. Reserving the selected units requires the written commercial terms to be agreed. Ask for the model, quantity, condition, offer validity, hold or deposit requirements, inspection access and release schedule before treating an allocation as committed project capacity.
J&J's 250 MW and 500 MW offerings describe alternative multi-unit package capacities. They do not establish 750 MW of separate inventory. A proposal identifies which physical equipment is allocated to the buyer and prevents the same units from being counted twice across phases or capacity options.
Generator supply and packaging for large power requirements
Start with generator unit selection and define the remaining equipment needed for the power block. J&J can supply and package generator units, with transformers, switchgear, controls, auxiliaries and logistics included when expressly quoted. The equipment list and responsibility schedule show where the supply package ends and site engineering or construction begins.
| Package item | Confirm in the proposal |
|---|---|
| Generators | Manufacturer, exact model, unit quantity, MW/kVA, power factor, duty, frequency, voltage, fuel and condition |
| Controls and auxiliaries | Unit controls, synchronizing, protection, cooling, fuel treatment, emissions equipment, starting and auxiliary power |
| Electrical equipment | Generator breakers, switchgear, collection voltage, GSU transformers, grounding and interface responsibilities |
| Documents and inspection | Matching nameplates, drawings, inspection and test records, maintenance history, preservation and acceptance criteria |
| Delivery and site work | Release milestones, loading, freight, offloading, storage, installation and commissioning responsibilities |
Bulk generator supply and phased project equipment packages
For a data center, industrial plant or power project, send the required MW by phase and the first needed-on-site date. Identify whether each phase must support load independently or connect to a common operating plant. J&J can organize the supply proposal around those power blocks and the available unit release sequence.
- Separate total generator nameplate MW, expected net site MW and redundancy requirements.
- State fuel quality and pressure, installed 50 or 60 Hz, receiving voltage and operating duty.
- Identify acceptable manufacturers, new or used condition, maintenance evidence and required warranty.
- Set dates for allocation, inspection, equipment release, shipping, site arrival and commissioning.
Request pricing and the current generator allocation schedule
Send Tommy your required MW, target unit size, quantity, fuel, frequency, voltage, acceptable condition, destination and schedule. Include the existing one-line or project equipment schedule when available. Request generators only or list the wider equipment package you want J&J to quote.
Common questions
Written quotes and supporting records control unit-specific ratings, availability, condition, price, and delivery.
Can J&J supply multiple generator units for a large project?
Yes. J&J can supply and package multiple units around the agreed capacity, configuration and schedule. The written offer identifies the actual equipment allocation and all included scope.
Are generator allocations available for 250 MW and 500 MW requirements?
Yes. J&J markets both capacity offerings. The 250 MW CAT example is 100 G3520K units at 2.5 MW each. The 500 MW proposal requires its own current unit schedule. The two offerings are not added together as separate stock totals.
Does available allocation mean immediately ready to ship?
No single shipment promise applies to every allocation. Each offer states its equipment-readiness, inspection, preparation and release milestones. Loading, transit and site arrival are then agreed for the selected units.
Can J&J package generators with GSU transformers and switchgear?
Yes, when agreed in the quotation. Generator electrical data, the collection system and the project one-line establish the required transformer, breaker, switchgear and protection interfaces.
