J&J accepts switchgear and switchboard purchase requirements up to 4000A. Specify the equipment type, system voltage, continuous bus rating, fault rating, enclosure and one-line. A 4000 amp breaker is a component; it does not establish the rating or compatibility of a complete lineup. Current availability and the factory or equipment release schedule are confirmed with the specific quotation.
For 3000A and 4000A main-tie-main switchgear, identify transformer sources, main breakers, tie operation, interlocking and the required control philosophy. Include the project's protection and fault-study requirements.
For a switchboard, distribution panel, 4000A breaker or 800A busway request, identify that equipment separately. Busway, individual breakers and switchgear lineups are different products with different interfaces.
