These are distinct equipment requests. State whether you need a complete lineup, replacement section, generator paralleling assembly or individual circuit breaker. A breaker that has the right voltage label is not enough to establish compatibility with an existing lineup.
Eaton distinguishes low-voltage switchboards and switchgear by their construction, application and standards. Ask the project engineer to identify the required equipment type and applicable standard rather than treating the names as interchangeable.
Switchgear information needed for a useful offer
Provide the ratings and configuration for the assembled equipment, including the incoming supply and outgoing circuits. For a replacement or expansion, include the existing manufacturer's drawings and nameplate information.

Match switchgear with the transformer and generator
Send the project one-line with any related transformer or generator inquiry. Confirm voltage, current, grounding, protection and connection boundaries across the whole equipment package. Procurement screening supports the engineering review; it does not replace a system study or utility approval.
Verify condition and included components
For surplus or used equipment, request lineup and component nameplates, drawings, relay and breaker schedules, preservation history, inspection records and test results. Identify missing or substituted components before comparing a price or planning a field connection.
