Electrical distribution route supply

Busway & Bus Duct for Sale

J&J quotes busway, bus duct and distribution bus systems for data centers, commercial facilities and industrial projects. Send 800A busway requirements or your specified project rating with the route and load schedule. Eaton busway supply, conductor configuration, fittings and tap-offs are reviewed as a complete route package. A straight-section price is useful only when you know what else the route requires.

Quote each busway route as a defined package

Give each run a route reference and show the connection at both ends. Eaton's Pow-R-Way III literature describes configured routes and fittings; request the actual product family and layout that match your project rather than assuming one system fits every distribution application.

Compare price per foot with the complete route price

Ask for straight-section pricing and an itemized component schedule. A busway price per linear foot should identify its conductor and configuration; fittings, tap-off units and connections need their own stated quantities and inclusion status.

Planning example: a 100-foot straight run with four elbows and six tap-offs is not described by 100 feet alone. Put the length, four elbows, six tap-off units and end connections on separate quotation lines. This is a scope example, not a product layout, stock offer or installed-price estimate.

Separate the busway rating from the main board rating

An 800A route and a 4000A main switchboard are different equipment requirements. Identify the feeding device, busway connection and route duty independently. Have the project team review their ratings and interfaces together on the one-line.

For expansions or replacement sections, send the existing manufacturer's identification and connection drawings. Record which party supplies adapters, field-fit pieces, supports and final dimensions. Confirm required tap-off models and quantities before comparing route prices; matching amperage alone does not establish an interchangeable connection.

9–11 week OEM delivery target with DDP

The 9–11 week delivery target covers all listed OEM equipment, including transformers through 10 MVA / 10,000 kVA. This total window includes manufacturing, factory testing and shipping to the customer’s site. It starts after PO, approved drawings and the agreed commercial production release. The quotation confirms configuration, quantity, factory allocation, destination and the arrival date.

DDP is included in the confirmed quotation: agreed freight, import clearance and applicable import duties to the named delivery point. Offloading, installation, field testing and commissioning are separate unless expressly included. Equipment above 10 MVA has a separately reviewed schedule.

Send Tommy your equipment requirement

Email tommy@jjtransformers.com or call Tommy Marco at 346-276-9540. Send voltage, current, conductor, neutral/ground arrangement, route lengths, fittings, tap-offs, destination and required date.

J&J Transformers LLC is your independent equipment supplier. The written offer identifies the manufacturer, model, manufacturing entity, required compliance evidence, warranty terms and included equipment. Existing new, unused and pre-owned inventory is reviewed separately from these new-build requests.

Busway and bus duct purchase schedules

For busway or bus duct for sale, provide voltage, current, fault-duty requirements, conductor material, configuration and the physical route. Straight sections, elbows, joints, supports and plug-in or end-feed components must form a compatible documented system.

  • Identify manufacturer/system series, indoor or outdoor application, enclosure, neutral/ground arrangement and joint requirements.
  • Request a component schedule with lengths and fittings; similar current ratings do not establish interchangeable parts.

Common questions

Written quotes and supporting records control unit-specific ratings, availability, condition, price, and delivery.

Can J&J quote 800A distribution busway?

Yes. Send the complete electrical requirement, route drawing, conductor and neutral/ground arrangement, fittings and tap-off schedule. The offer confirms the selected manufacturer, product family, ratings and available configuration.

Does busway price per foot include fittings and tap-offs?

The written price basis establishes that. Ask for separate quantities and inclusion status for straight sections, fittings, feeds, tap-offs, supports and connection equipment before comparing totals.

Can I request copper or aluminum bus duct?

Yes. Specify the conductor requirement and the complete route configuration. The quotation confirms the actual model and its documented ratings; a general family catalog does not establish every offered configuration.

Can I use an 800A busway rating as the main switchboard rating?

No. Keep busway, feeding device and switchboard requirements separate. Their actual ratings, interfaces and operating duty need review against the project one-line and specification.

Can bus duct components be mixed solely because they have the same amp rating?

No. Confirm the manufacturer's system compatibility, joint design, conductor arrangement, enclosure, fault duty and required documentation. A matching current rating does not prove that sections and fittings can form an approved assembly.
