Which J420 configuration does your project need?
Specify frequency, voltage and electrical output separately. The J420 family includes different engine and package configurations. A general datasheet showing 50 Hz and 60 Hz variants is not proof that an offered unit operates at either frequency without modification.
- State the required net kW or MW and continuous, prime or standby duty.
- Identify the required Hz, line-to-line voltage, neutral arrangement and connection point.
- Include site temperature, elevation, fuel information and whether the package operates independently or connects to a utility.
Compare complete packages and included scope
Ask which enclosure, cooling system, exhaust equipment, generator breaker, controls and connection hardware are included. Separate the generator package from site cabling, transformers, synchronization equipment, installation and commissioning so the offer matches your project scope.
For several units, provide the total quantity and first delivery requirement separately. Confirm the configuration and document set for each proposed unit. Quantity, build year, current condition, operating history and warranty must be tied to the offered equipment.
